Architectural Project Manager

Description

• Assist the Principal with proposals and fee negotiations
• Attend, participate, and lead project meetings both in-house and at job sites
• Prepare and control project schedules
• Perform on-site construction observations and prepare associated reports
• Review invoices before distribution for final review
• Maintain and enhance professional relationships with clients, consultants, and others
• Monitor and be accountable for project budgets and profitability
• Assist the Principal in the training and project performance evaluation of personnel
• Develop a training plan in conjunction with a supervisor to improve job skills and enhance career development
• Monitor contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and other agreements to ensure compliance with contract terms and established procedures
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of all technical work
• Direct daily activities of design team, including in-house team members and outside consultants
• Prepare and participate in presentations
• Provide leadership to ensure projects are completed in accordance with designated designs, codes, specifications, industry standards, office budgets, and schedule requirements
• Secure future work through overt marketing efforts

Requirements

• Experience in project management and architectural design
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture or related field preferred
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Document production experience required
