KONE is seeking a Sales Executive for the North & Midlands team, covering the Southeast Midlands and East Anglia, to sell lifts for new buildings. The role involves proactively managing customer relationships, generating and closing sales opportunities, and maximizing the company’s order book and profitability.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining customer relationships, creating leads and cross‑selling opportunities, handling complaints, and keeping accurate customer data. The executive will spend 2‑3 days a week meeting customers, manage leads, orders and contracts to meet sales and pricing targets, validate order contents, and ensure proper hand‑over to installation or engineering teams. Additional duties involve upselling KONE digital solutions, maintaining full opportunity information, and delivering timely forecasts and reports.
The ideal candidate has a background in industry, construction, or technical sales, with proven experience in sales and account management, including high‑volume tender handling. Strong negotiation and closing skills, results‑driven attitude, and knowledge of contractual, financial and commercial terms are essential. Effective communication, stakeholder influence, proficiency with Microsoft tools and Salesforce CRM, and fluency in English are also required.
