We are seeking an Associate Construction Manager in Phoenix, AZ to support the rapid growth of our privately held data center company. The role assists senior leaders in managing all phases of construction projects, from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, cost control, quality craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction.
The Associate Construction Manager will oversee large, fast‑moving, complex projects across North America and potentially in LATAM, South America, and EMEA, requiring travel to support additional pursuits. Working closely with the Senior Construction Manager or Director, they will help develop and implement best practices, procedures, and tools for construction management.
Key duties include leading preconstruction, construction, commissioning, and turnover activities, organizing cross‑functional work groups, and building collaborative relationships with general contractors, MEP partners, and local authorities. The role also involves active budget management, contract administration, vendor coordination, on‑site inspections, and continuous improvement of processes and tools.
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field and have at least two years of progressive commercial construction experience, preferably in data centers. Required knowledge includes lean construction, various project and contract delivery methods, CPM scheduling, cost estimating, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project.
