Developing knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Standards.
Organizes construction documents from beginning to end with little to minor direction.
Prepares layout site plans from basic concept to final.
Performs thorough quality control of construction documents.
Produces construction documents using relevant drafting/design software.
Maintains file management of AutoCAD files and other documents.
Produces and completes utility alignments and profiles.
Ensures compliance with company CAD standards within the scope of assigned projects.
As an integral member of the community development team, the CAD Designer produces construction documents to fulfill clients’ goals. This position is also responsible to QA/QC of construction documents, providing design ideas and solutions, and train or mentor junior CAD Designers, Operators, or Engineers.

Capable of reading / interpreting various types of construction and site plans
Basic understanding of survey methods and calculations.
Demonstrates strong math skills, including algebra and trigonometry.
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
Demonstrates understanding of codes and regulatory requirements for design.
