Serve as the administrator for the Power BI environment, managing user access, configurations, and reporting functionalities.
Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, business operations, compliance, and legal teams to define data governance objectives and requirements.
Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
Initiate and champion data governance initiatives.
Perform data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Facilitate data stewardship and promote a culture of data accountability.
Oversee workspace management and work with stakeholders to promote reports and dashboards into a productive area.
Communicate data governance initiatives and progress to stakeholders.
Utilize problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Provide training and support to users on data governance practices.
Provide support in resolving data-related issues and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate data governance meetings and training sessions to promote awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric).
7+ years or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years Data Analyst experience
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Position will require 15% travel domestically (US) and some international. (passport required)
Can tolerate variable and sometimes challenging conditions during visits or inspections of company equipment in a railroad environment
May lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally
Experience administering and managing Power BI environments.
Office deskwork requires sitting, walking, using phone & computer
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
