The coordinator will play a pivotal role throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that MEP systems are designed, coordinated, installed, commissioned, and inspected to meet quality and schedule objectives.
- Support project planning and preconstruction, including pre‑award interviews and early design coordination
- Review MEP drawings and specifications to identify clashes and ensure constructability
- Lead or assist multi‑trade coordination to keep systems aligned and on schedule
- Create and maintain project schedules for key MEP milestones
- Manage field installation activities and coordinate subcontractors with site operations
- Troubleshoot on‑site MEP issues and implement efficient solutions
- Support commissioning by scheduling, testing, verifying, documenting, and ensuring turnover readiness
- Conduct quality‑control inspections, manage punch lists, and follow up on resolutions
- Build strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, owners, engineers, and internal teams
- Represent Danis in trade associations and share field insights

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management
- 10–15 years of MEP experience in commercial/industrial construction on projects up to $40M+
- Hands‑on installation experience with HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, medical gases, controls, and specialty systems
- Experience on healthcare, data‑center, food & beverage advanced manufacturing, higher‑ed, high‑tech, or institutional projects
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, lighting, alarms, plumbing, medical equipment, controls, and integrated systems
- Proven leadership in coordinating trades, communicating effectively, and aligning systems with project vision
- Bonus: experience with large MEP subcontractors or roles blending engineering, estimating, and field execution
- Combination of office and on‑site work with frequent local travel to job sites, design meetings, and subcontractor coordination sessions
- Physical activity includes walking active construction sites, climbing, lifting up to 50 lb, kneeling, crawling, and extended standing or walking
