Van Builder - Shop Foreman

Description

• Ensure all work complies with shop safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Ensure work meets torque specifications, performance standards, and quality expectations.
• Oversee inventory, tools, and material management. Report any shortages or damaged items to the Owner.
• Install exterior components (bumpers, suspensions, windows, flares) and build complete interiors with precision.
• Specialize in electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems for custom builds. Manage, train, and mentor a team of skilled builders, while collaborating with the Owner to set goals and deadlines.
• Troubleshoot issues during the build process, ensuring smooth and timely project execution.

Requirements

• Strong safety knowledge and ability to enforce safe work practices Advanced construction math skills
• Skilled in using hand and power tools (drills, saws, routers, etc.)
• 3+ years of team leadership experience
• 5+ years of relevant van building or related trade experience
• Excellent communication skills and experience with customer-facing roles Proficiency with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Calendar, etc.) and CRM platforms
• Ability to create and follow systems and SOPs
• Expertise in van building systems (electrical, plumbing, mechanical integration)
