KBR is seeking an experienced and autonomous Cost Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the transition and retirement of the C-130J-30 fleet. If you excel in complex cost modelling, enjoy influencing strategic decisions, and thrive in a Defence environment—this role is for you.

As a Major Service Provider of the Australian Defence Force, an AGSVA security clearance will be required and compliance to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As such, our hiring decisions are based on the key requirements of each role and candidates are selected based on their unique strengths and experiences.

Familiarity with contract reform and value-for-money assessments
Experience in procedural documentation, mentoring, and knowledge transfer

Proven stakeholder engagement across diverse teams
CPA/CA/CIMA highly regarded; procurement/contracting training advantageous
Strong analytical, visual data interpretation, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or similar
Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
