Investigate employee issues and complaints and make recommendations to resolve issues to ensure timely and appropriate actions are taken
Manage the off boarding process, including conducting exit interviews and identifying trends and/or solutions to improve employee retention
Develop, recommend and implement human resources process and policy changes
Maintain highly confidential employee information and documents
Provide functional guidance, advice, training, and support to less-experienced HR staff
Assist with communicating policy and procedures changes to managers and employees
Perform some administrative duties such as answering telephone calls and completing employee change paperwork.
Advise managers on the annual performance review process and ensure proper documentation is uploaded into the HRIS system.
Collaborate with hiring managers through the hiring process which includes establishing the job description, FLSA classification, and guides managers through the requisition approval process
Prepare reports to help provide information to the assigned business units.
Conduct new hire orientation which includes the completion of new hire paperwork and proper follow up.
Assist in human resources projects, such as building training content to meet the needs of the business, and other ad hoc projects assigned.
Stay up to date with employment, federal and state law changes to mitigate risk
Facilitate HR-related training for assigned business units as needed
Partner with the assigned business units to provide guidance with employee relations issues, including performance issues, disciplinary actions and terminations, employee conflicts, policy violations, etc.
