  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Perform basic mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, and servicing of company equipment as assigned.
  • Assist with inspections to ensure the equipment is safe and properly serviced.
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Support inventory management by tracking shop supplies, parts, and tools.
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment or parts as needed.
  • Complete equipment check sheets and document work performed accurately.
  • Collaborate with senior mechanics to learn hydraulic, electrical, welding, and fabrication basics.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working in varied weather conditions and around machinery with moving parts, chemicals, and petroleum products.
  • Ability to climb, kneel, bend, and work in a variety of positions on and around heavy equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of tools and shop equipment preferred.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, or welding is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical.
  • Must provide basic hand tools (company will supply specialty tools).
  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required; CDL is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or on-call shifts.
  • Previous experience working with mechanical equipment, automotive repair, or shop environment preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and grow mechanical knowledge.
