Mason is seeking a Junior Engineer / Estimator with 2+ years of experience in low voltage estimating or a recent Electrical Engineering graduate with exposure to structured cabling projects. This role is ideal for candidates who want to bridge engineering design and project estimation, working on commercial structured cabling projects involving copper (Cat6/6A), fiber, racks, and associated hardware. The Junior Engineer / Estimator will assist in preparing bids, takeoffs, proposals, and collaborating with general contractors.

  • Familiarity with commercial low voltage systems and standards (Cat5/6/6A, fiber).
  • RCDD and/or BICSI certifications are a plus.
  • Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and other industry-standard quoting tools.
  • Proficiency in reading plans and preparing takeoffs.
  • 2+ years of estimating experience in low voltage/structured cabling projects, or a recent Electrical Engineering graduate with relevant coursework, internship, or project experience.
  • Experience with ConnectWise or similar quoting software is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
