Service Charge Analyst

Description

• Calculating, recommending, and posting accruals and prepayments
• Responsible for Training other team members passing on knowledge and skills particularly to new members of staff
• Raising ad-hoc charges to tenants
• Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the role responsibilities.
• Reviewing expenditure to ensure it has been coded correctly in line with budget
• Leading project work to support re-engineering or efficiency improvement
• Working closely with other teams within REAS to provide exceptional outcomes to our client
• Assist in quality review of third party partners work
• Case Managing the Service Charge end to end process for assigned allocation
• Working closely with our third-party partners to ensure closure of annual service charge reconciliations across a variety of complex assets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLAs. Role will require a variation of:
• Preparing closure packs and letters
• Reviewing Tenant apportionment and undertaking CAP calculations
• Preparing reconciliation of clients’ service charge funds.
• Attending client and internal meetings
• Assisting our internal stakeholders with closing off annual property budgets in line with RICS guidelines and agreed SLA’s:
• Presenting to wider business changes and updates on Service Charge process
• Reviewing income demanded in the year and ensuring all occupiers are correctly billed

Requirements

• Numerical and analytically minded
