The role involves collaborating with the Assistant General Manager/Regional General Manager to develop sales strategies that improve market share across all product lines. The incumbent is responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets, monitoring area sales, analyzing variances, and implementing area‑specific action plans to drive revenue growth.
Sales execution includes managing major accounts, negotiating prices and discounts in consultation with senior management, and driving distributor performance on sales, on‑time delivery, and query resolution. The role also entails recommending new distributor appointments, tracking account activities, and helping close deals to achieve targets.
Channel development covers primary and secondary sales, channel management, expansion, and continuous market and competition tracking.
The incumbent will provide inputs to the regional branding execution manager, implement area‑specific trade promotional and branding initiatives, and ensure maximum product visibility through marketing activities. They will also conduct influencer engagement programs such as sales promotions and meetings with key plumbers, architects, and consultants for demand generation.
New product development planning and execution are required in the assigned area. The role demands strong problem‑solving, analytical, oral and written communication, presentation, relationship‑building, influencing, and negotiation skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in English and the local language.
