Assistant Project Manager – Façade Restoration & Building Envelope

Description

• Collaborate closely with architects and engineers from assessment to closeout
• Learn the technical and regulatory landscape of NYC’s built environment
• Work on real-world, high-impact projects that blend historic preservation and innovation
• Help prepare reports, drawings, and materials for Local Law 11 (FISP) compliance
• Monitor project schedules, costs, and general coordination with clients and contractors
• Support project managers with field investigations, site visits, and documentation
• Assist with active façade and building envelope projects across NYC

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, organized work style
• 1–3 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction
• Valid driver’s license; OSHA or scaffold certifications are a bonus
• Balanced mix of fieldwork, client interaction, and technical development
• Comfortable with both office work and field conditions
• Familiarity with Local Law 11 / FISP or NYC codes is a strong plus
• Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
