  • Liaise with other professionals, clients, and third parties as needed
  • Develop coastal numerical models- including wave, hydrodynamic, sediment transport, mooring analysis and water quality – to provide critical data and analysis that informs design and optimization of coastal structures
  • Perform coastal structures analysis, design, and evaluation and be responsible for the preparation of calculations, drawings, work plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications, under applicable design requirements along with engineering reports and other technical documents

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Coastal Engineering, with a minimum of 1 year of consulting coastal work experience in coastal engineering, with focus on numerical modelling in North America.
  • Have understanding in industry-standard modelling software (e.g., Delft3D, MIKE21, SMS, or similar)
  • Be a registered as Engineering in Training in home province have or ability to obtain registrations within 6 months of employment
  • Experienced in using Python for programming and QGIS for geospatial analysis to support the development, automation, and validation of engineering calculations and data workflows.
