Coordinates equipment usage among jobs in the most efficient and profitable manner.
Serves as a resource in diagnosing malfunctions of equipment and mentoring mechanics.
Develop a flow of communication between management and field personnel to ensure prompt and accurate communication of potential equipment issues.
Coordinates the repair, transportation and scheduling of equipment for projects.
Serves as the main contact for field personnel for all materials and small tools in the yard.
Assists the Equipment team in minimizing equipment down time and enabling the safe operation of equipment.
Properly document all necessary repairs.
Ensures company policies and procedures are understood and implemented consistently at all warehouse and project locations.
Inspects all equipment and material when returned to the yard; stores them in an orderly fashion.
Assists in developing and executing work plans and Activity Hazard Analysis
Directs yard workers
Works with the Project Managers to determine job specific needs for equipment.
Support and help foster the company’s Incident and Injury Free Safety culture.
Perform additional assignments per the Equipment Manager’s direction.

Self-starter with ability to operate independently.
Experience in equipment management systems and inventory management systems.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must be able to safely lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Good vision and hearing are necessary for safety and precision in the job.
Stamina to work long hours in various weather and physically demanding conditions.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity to handle tools and parts with precision.
Ability to operate heavy machinery for diagnostic purposes.
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
Must have 15+ years of related equipment experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Comfort with working at heights and in confined spaces.
