Description

• Conduct structural analyses of bridges.
• Prepare design calculations, details, contract plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Review construction submittals and assist with field inspections and issue resolution.
• Apply basic structural engineering principles to highway structures.
• Perform physical field tasks such as climbing ladders, wading streams, and lifting up to 25 lb.

The perfect candidate should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. You should have a working knowledge of relevant structural concepts pertaining to bridges and other highway structures, enabling you to understand and assess their condition.

• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally, focusing on quality work.
• Use MS Word, Excel; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience preferred.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil/Structural Engineering with 0–3 years of experience.
