Description

Inspect fiber: every 15 minutes and document inspection checks per work instructions.
Package fiber into boxes or tubs.
Works safely with no accidents. Maintains acceptable housekeeping. Participates in the plant’s safety and housekeeping initiatives.
Assign all product identification labels or tickets.
Weigh, package, seal, and label all fiber production.
Responsible and accountable for fiber quantity count and inventory records.
Inspect fiber production on belt deck for defects.
Utilizes reports to gather information, monitor progress, and implement corrective action.
Check quality of product: inspect fiber for product defects.
Responsible and accountable for fiber quality inspection and rejection of defects
Inspect fiber conveyors and "picker rolls" for dry fiber, clumps, and fiber build up.

Three or more years of manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights.
Required to work 12 hour rotating shift schedule including working days and nights and rotating frequently.
Ability to work safely following all policies and procedures; safety is a condition of employment.
Exceptional attendance including working every day, on time, as scheduled.
Frequent lifting or moving materials up to 10 lbs.
Ability to provide simple and accurate instructions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Works effectively as a team player and demonstrates teamwork with peers and management in every department and level.
Possess working knowledge of scale "SET UP
I9 VERIFICATION REQUIRED
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to work overhead for long periods of time
Follows written and verbal communications and instructions.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, reach, and grasp.
Ability to work at times in a high temperature environment.
