Senior Accounting Administrator

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Senior Accounting Administrator to help manage the organization's financial accounting and reporting. This is a key member of the management team and will have primary day-to-day responsibility for directing and implementing all financial-related activities at GPI Geospatial in conformity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This is an on-site position based in our Charlotte office.

• Income Statement Account Review- review the Income Statement and analyze the accounts for accuracy and research discrepancies.
• Run and send bi-weekly labor reports to various groups. Schedule and attend bi-weekly Overhead labor meetings and process labor transfers
• Monthly Invoicing—Run reports and send links to Project Managers of active projects for invoicing. Finalize invoices, package them, and send them to clients. All invoicing is done in Deltek VantagePoint software. Update earnings accordingly for revenue generation and note multiplier variances. Assist other Billers with billing questions or Project Manager discussions.
• Supervise and train Accounting Assistants.
• Attend Corporate Accounting meetings/training sessions.
• Address Corporate questions on earnings with any assistance from the Project Manager and/or Director.
• Aged ARs- monthly review of Aged ARs and address with billers on follow-up with the Project Managers and clients.
• Revenue Review- review projects for the entire branch and discuss multiplier variances/comments with other billers.
• Bi-Annual Budget- work with the Branch Manager on the budget exercise.
• Package monthly earnings reports for Sr. Mgmt. and attend the earnings meeting.
• File monthly FL sales tax return and annual WV return.
• Address Corporate Quarterly and Annual audit requests.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Extensive Deltek VantagePoint experience.
• Deep understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent Accounting Manager experience.
