The Staff Accountant role is an on‑site position (five days a week) responsible for general‑ledger accounting, homebuilding reporting, revenue recognition, cash receipts, month‑end reporting, and various reconciliation tasks that support Lennar’s zero‑defect, cost‑managed building approach.
- Assist with month‑end close and prepare journal entries.
- Perform bank and general‑ledger reconciliations, including suspense accounts and wire transfers.
- Record monthly revenue entries, accruals, reclassifications, and allocation entries.
- Run ESSBASE daily to track overhead expenses against budgets and forecasts.
- Process fixed‑asset runs, commission packages, and support accounts payable.
- Conduct special‑project analysis and ensure accuracy of profitability and weekly reporting.
