The Director of Building Enclosures will be a strategic and technical leader responsible for driving enclosure consulting excellence, expanding market presence, and mentoring a growing team of specialists. This individual will guide design validation, oversee performance testing, and ensure that design intent is carried through into construction to achieve the highest standards of performance, resilience, and sustainability.
- Provide technical oversight for projects, including design validation, interface coordination, and performance testing.
- Work on cutting-edge, sustainable, and high-performance projects.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of enclosure specialists and consultants.
- Lead and grow the building enclosure consulting and commissioning practice in the Pittsburgh region.
- Drive innovation in building envelope systems to meet evolving resilience, energy efficiency, and carbon reduction goals.
- Strengthen client relationships and represent the firm as a thought leader in building performance and sustainable enclosure design.
- Support business development efforts and contribute to strategic growth initiatives in the region.
- Collaborate with design teams and contractors to ensure design intent, constructability, and long-term enclosure performance.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring and managing technical teams.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
