Expand and Develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project.
Represent Suffolk with Owners, Architects, Consultants, Government Authorities, Vendors and Subcontractors.
Assist with the creation of project specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project.
Manage a team of Quality Managers and/or professionals to execute the administrative tasks related to reporting site evaluations, quality reporting requirements, and site specific quality planning.
Develop and update comprehensive training curriculum for all field operations, Quality Department Staff, and Subcontractors.
Act as a resource for field operations with compliance on Federal and State regulatory requirements as well as local quality regulations including: ADA, ASHE, NFPA, UL, ASTM, and FBC.
Stay abreast of trends and evolving best practices by participating in organizations and forums dedicated to Quality. Keep the Company informed of the latest updates on best practices and standards.
Create mechanisms for sharing best practices and quality issues across project teams and among all quality personnel.
Implement and maintain the Corporate Quality Management Program across all areas of the business and ensure compliance.
Conduct random site evaluations, including follow-up evaluations to ensure corrections have been made to deficiencies.
Assist with the development of Quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross-functionally with operations to address any trends.
Build effective working relationships with clients, trade partners, and the Suffolk project team members.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Management or demonstrated equivalent field.
5 plus years of experience in related construction fields.

Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry
Able to constantly multi-task and handle competing priorities between Suffolk Construction project needs and non-critical review of incomplete work assignments while maintaining excellent customer relations.
A strong sense of urgency and initiative, and the ability to quickly study and react to complex issues, and resolve conflict effectively in a firm but fair manner.
