We are looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Electrical Engineer designing unique utility electrical substations and power generation projects, including combined heat and power, renewables, grid storage, and large district energy thermal generation systems.
- The preferred candidate will have excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Extensive understanding of electrical construction procedures and systems/materials used in constructing electrical systems and components.
- Experience working on Utility Company projects and/or dealing with utilities for clients is desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills to support team coordination activities.
- Relay, protection, and control knowledge a plus.
- Professional Registration required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and managing electrical systems in the Substation and Power Industry.
- Knowledgeable of associated Codes and Standards, including the ANSI/IEEE, NESC, IBC, IECC, and the NEC.
- Strong understanding of the ANSI/IEEE, NESC, NEC, IBC, and IECC.
- Be knowledgeable of and manage utilization of electrical power programs such as ETAP, SKM, CYME, CDEGS, and AGI32 lighting software.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems preferred.
- Strong physical understanding of laying out switchyards through 500kV, electrical gear and spaces, sizing branch circuits, laying out devices, lighting layout, and circuitry, including lighting controls, in accordance with the Energy Codes.

The compensation that we expect to pay for this position is commensurate with years of experience, professional licensure, geographic location, and education, but the total rewards package should be between $165,000 and $200,000 annually.
