- Lead the application of lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity, cost, quality, and service.
- Assist with Lean training sessions.
- Assist with maintenance service calls for production equipment.
- Purchase tooling for both new and existing products.
- Partner with Set-up Operators to optimize work processes for safety, throughput, and quality.
- Co-lead process improvement teams with the Lean Team using LSS methodologies.
- Manage Traffic Management Plans at Davand and Gana locations – including layouts, signage, and storage areas.
- Use Lean tools to reduce waste and enhance process control.
- Drive year-over-year (YOY) productivity improvements.
- Collaborate with design engineering on product enhancements, especially in sheet metal fabrication.
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) for relocated equipment.
- Revise and update programs to boost productivity and maintain quality standards.
- Support 5S initiatives throughout the facility.
- Ensure racking is labeled and certified with weight capacities.
- Manage and analyze data to identify problems and provide improvement recommendations.

- Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Effective communication and report-writing skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
- Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Engineering Science or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes and material specifications.
