Support the Manager Fleet Services in aspects of operating the fleet department as directed
Overall responsibility for FMCSA regulation compliance to reduce driver DOT violations and citations.
Assist in notifying operations of needed preventative maintenance and DOT inspections .
Assist Manager Fleet Services to monitor equipment utilization and make recommendations for reassignment, I/C sale and/or disposals.
Reviews existing processes and develop improvements/solutions.
Use various data bases to maintain data integrity of the fleet.
Work with accounting group to ensure necessary paperwork is accurately completed.

Needs computer skills, a general understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
5 years of experience in the field or related area.
Must be able to multi-task in an ever changing environment while meeting company goals and maintaining a positive and productive relationship with coworkers and direct supervisor.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days of hire.
3 years of progressive FMCSR experience and knowledge of FMCSR regulations.
Must have a wide degree of knowledge in the vehicle and maintenance field.
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
To be 18 years of age or older
Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools.
