- Conduct manual data review of calibrations, QC, and chromatography.
- Ensure proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
- Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records.
- Test assigned specimens using both manual and automated techniques.
- Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures and review test results before release.
- Identify and correct problems that may affect test performance or reporting, or notify the senior technologist or supervisor.
- Perform sample extraction using manual pipetting, Tecan, and automated technology.
- Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
- Follow laboratory policies and procedures when test systems are not within acceptable performance levels.

- Experience in research, pharmaceuticals, or toxicology is a plus.
- Proficiency in Chemistry and Clinical Laboratory procedures.

- Experience with CLIA regulations.
- 1 year of clinical lab experience is highly preferred
