Assist with digital feature extraction, projections, and transformations for project deliverables.
Help produce technical specifications, project approaches, cost estimates, and schedules.
Support GIS mapping and data collection tasks for project deliverables and field personnel.
Create and update GIS maps, layers, and GPS data using relevant technologies for field surveys.
Support GPS data collection and post-processing for high-accuracy specifications.
Contribute to GIS system needs assessments and implement improved work methods.
Comply with all company policies and standards.
Conduct land survey records searches and ownership data research.
Support geo-reference data tasks and other duties as assigned.
Utilize software tools (ArcGIS, MS Access, MS Excel) and various data sources to create GIS maps and support field operations.
Assist with GIS metadata creation and design extensions/add-ins for GIS applications.
Assist with GIS, data, and mapping for engineering and surveying projects, supporting both internal and external teams.

Prior GPS and applicable natural science field experience a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor Degree in GIS, geography, environmental science, or closely related natural science Required
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
Basic GIS skills, including data analysis abilities.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Experience working in the ArcGIS desktop environment is required (ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 or higher a plus).
