In this role you will support the movement and management of smart‑metering assets, coordinate the transfer of stock from third‑party warehouses to Meter Operators, maintain accurate records and ensure an efficient flow of assets to meet operational requirements. You will also assist with the return and processing of removed or faulty assets, including triage and documentation, and participate in regular stock audits and reconciliations. Additionally, you will support health, safety and welfare procedures and suggest practical ideas for process improvement.
The ideal candidate has experience in operational roles within logistics, stock control or a similar environment, preferably with some awareness of utilities or related industries and a solid understanding of materials management and logistics principles. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
