Conducting measured surveys
Providing CAD support
Shadowing and assisting in providing professional work to clients (e.g. schedules of dilapidations, pre-acquisition surveys, party wall awards, defect diagnosis, planned preventative maintenance reports, fire insurance valuations, disability audits, schedules of condition).
Shadowing and assisting on a range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties (e.g offices, retail and industrial).
Shadowing and assisting on servicing instructions (typically split about 50:50 between professional work and project work).
Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties as may be reasonably required.

You have a passion for the built environment and building surveying.
An equivalent qualification; or
Strong verbal, written and numerical skills.
Excellent time management and organisation skills
Business Development and client care awareness.
Able to work within a team and independently.
A current RICS Associate qualification; or
Completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or an Advanced Apprenticeship in Construction Technical through which a Construction and Built Environment Diploma with a minimum DD profile was obtained or through which a Construction and Built Environment Extended Diploma with a minimum MMM profile was obtained; or
You’re highly organised and able to multitask.
96 UCAS tariff points (2017 UCAS Tariff) or an equivalent level, through recognised qualifications not included in the UCAS tariff; or
Flexible and able work under pressure.
Good telephone manner
You’re able to build relationships at all levels, and an awareness of client care.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
You’re professional, self-motivated, enthusiastic, proactive, able to prioritise and multi-task with a can-do attitude.
