Structural Designer/Drafter Marine

• Make a meaningful impact on infrastructure projects that shape communities.
• Produce accurate drawings and complete drawing packages for feasibility studies, detailed design, and construction.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and drafting managers to design and document structural and civil works.
• Utilize ArcGIS and related applications to support engineering and advisory projects.
• Assist with quantity take-offs to support cost estimating.
• Work on diverse projects across industries, from concept through implementation.

I’m working with a client who is looking to add an engaged and enthusiastic Structural Designer Drafter at the intermediate level to their team. This role will support a range of maritime, industrial, and transportation infrastructure projects, working with a comprehensive suite of drafting and GIS tools, including AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, and ArcGIS. The position offers a chance to apply your drafting skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.

Structural Designer Drafter (Intermediate Level)

• Exposure to 3D structural software and cloud-based drafting workflows.
• 5+ years of experience in structural or civil drafting.
• Client-facing or interpersonal experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with engineering drafting workflows.
• Diploma or certificate in drafting, design technology, or related field from a recognized technical institution.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Experience with Civil3D, Revit, and ArcGIS.
• Ability to work onsite at the Burnaby office.

Salary Range: CAD $85,000 – $125,000
