Coordinate within SRP’s matrixed team, integrating technical, regulatory, environmental, water, land, transmission and site considerations.
Administer and review work performed by consultants, internal staff, and technology developers, including coordination with SRP subject matter experts.
Act as a connector and team builder, ensuring inclusivity and transparency in decision-making.
Lead technology and partner evaluation of nuclear technologies by gathering data from preferred vendors and identifying candidates for inclusion in the Plant Parameter Envelope (PPE) of an Early Site Permit (ESP). Ensure evaluations consider not only technical merit, but also long-term partnership suitability, cultural fit, and alignment with SRP’s operational philosophy and project vision.
Mentor less-experienced engineers on technical and project management best practices.
Develop and Finalize PPE in collaboration with other partners and external contractors.
Represent SRP in industry groups and organizations focused on nuclear technology development, building relationships that reflect SRP’s collaborative and inclusive approach.
Track developments in the nuclear industry and maintain regular communication with down-selected technology vendors. Establish methods to monitor progress and share updates with internal project stakeholders.
Collaborate with counterparts at other utilities to share insights, align on best practices, and monitor technology developments.
Prepare and deliver reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
