Ensure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures;
Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans and the company’s Environmental Health and Safety Management policies and procedures.
Monitor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g. technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.);
Provide periodic monitoring of active construction sites;
Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communications and participation in work progress meetings; and
Prepare daily field reports, weekly field reports, & progress reports;

Ability to monitor several different types of construction activities simultaneously. (required)
Technical understanding of site investigation, construction quality assurance, and/or construction management procedures for marine, structural, and coastal projects. (required)
Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 kilograms unaided and 21-45 kilograms with assistance and/or proper engineering controls. (required)
High school diploma or GED band a minimum of six (6) years of applicable experience, or a Diploma or equivalent from a two-year college and a minimum of four (4) years of experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil, marine, geotechnical, or structural engineering and two (2) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and technical experience. (required)
Strong willingness to work outdoors with interest in building a career in the engineering consulting field. (required)
Experience with Windows based software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, etc.). (required)
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic. (required)
Ability to speak and hear, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or craw. (required)
