The Leasing Coordinator role supports a stabilized community of 326 units by aligning marketing, leasing, and renewal activities to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The position involves interacting with prospects, guiding them through the leasing process, and ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.
- Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and finalize lease agreements to meet occupancy targets.
- Prepare apartments for move‑in, inspect units, and coordinate maintenance to ensure readiness.
- Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including online ads, resident referrals, and employer outreach.
- Use property management software to track availability, prospect data, and leasing activity.
- Maintain showroom quality by daily inspections, merchandising, and coordinating upkeep.
- Follow up with prospects and new residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to drive satisfaction.
- Manage lease renewal process: prepare renewal packages, contact residents early, and secure signed agreements.
- Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance).

The schedule requires weekend availability from 9 am to 6 pm, with flexibility for evening, holiday, and on‑call duties. Candidates should have 1–2 years of leasing experience, strong customer‑service skills, and comfort with technology.
