Drive continuous-improvement initiatives in the design process, such as template creation or library consolidation.
Lead updates to structured BOMs, ensuring all electrical and mechanical components are correctly specified and version-controlled.
Independently develop and release models and detailed drawings for heat-exchangers, pump skids, valve assemblies, and control panels.
Review vendor prints and integrate supplier models into in-house assemblies.
Coordinate with Engineering and Operations to optimize designs for cost, performance, and ease of assembly.
Mentor entry-level designers; review their work for compliance with drafting standards.

3+ years of hand-on design experience in a mechanical or HVAC manufacturing environment.
Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, Industrial Design, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Experience in electrical cabling design is beneficial, preferably using AutoCAD Electrical and/or Solid Edge Electrical.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple design assignments.
Proficiency with 3D Modeling software, preferably Solid Edge.
Proficiency with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and standard material call-outs.
