- Generate new leads and opportunities across our service areas.
- Maintain and develop existing accounts, ensuring long-term, trusted partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, subcontractors, and partners.
- Take full control of the business development function, managing it end-to-end.
- Oversee and manage the tendering process, keeping on top of tender portals (e.g. TenderHub).
- Attend industry events, networking sessions, open days, and engagement meetings to raise our profile and open new doors.

- Ideally experienced in construction, social housing, facilities management, or drainage, though strong sales and relationship-building skills are most important.
- Confident managing tenders, frameworks, and contract processes.
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager (not admin-level we need someone who can own it and deliver).
- Probation: 6 months before car provision.
- Self-starter who can run the function independently and drive tangible results.
- Salary: £50,000 £55,000 (depending on experience).
- Company car or allowance: To be discussed; expected in line with market standards.
- Hybrid working: Flexible, provided results are delivered.
