  • Generate new leads and opportunities across our service areas.
  • Maintain and develop existing accounts, ensuring long-term, trusted partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, subcontractors, and partners.
  • Take full control of the business development function, managing it end-to-end.
  • Oversee and manage the tendering process, keeping on top of tender portals (e.g. TenderHub).
  • Attend industry events, networking sessions, open days, and engagement meetings to raise our profile and open new doors.

  • Ideally experienced in construction, social housing, facilities management, or drainage, though strong sales and relationship-building skills are most important.
  • Confident managing tenders, frameworks, and contract processes.
  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager (not admin-level we need someone who can own it and deliver).
  • Probation: 6 months before car provision.
  • Self-starter who can run the function independently and drive tangible results.
