  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to deliver to industry and senior management level
  • Ability to provide innovative solutions to complex issues in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of the SEM and European energy markets
  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with typically a minimum of 2+ years post qualification experience in the electricity industry, especially system operations or markets.
  • Ability to translate policy and concepts into rules, codes and standards and vice versa.
  • Experience in electricity industry, especially system operations.
  • Strong technical, analytical, financial tracking and problem solving skills
  • Project management experience of project delivery or Professional certification.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and awareness of energy targets and ambitions for decarbonisation of the energy sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team together with flexibility in work approach including strong ability to work under own initiative.
