- Engineering degree or equivalent, with typically a minimum of 2+ years post qualification experience in the electricity industry, especially system operations or markets.
- Ability to translate policy and concepts into rules, codes and standards and vice versa.
- Experience in electricity industry, especially system operations.
- Strong technical, analytical, financial tracking and problem solving skills
- Project management experience of project delivery or Professional certification.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and awareness of energy targets and ambitions for decarbonisation of the energy sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team together with flexibility in work approach including strong ability to work under own initiative.
