The role works under general supervision, offering training and technical support on BIM systems and creating 3D electrical models that meet project specifications. Responsibilities include developing electrical system models, performing clash detection, generating quantity take‑offs, ensuring code compliance, and participating in project meetings.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to coordinate electrical and other building systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and mentor junior staff in BIM practices. The position also helps maintain company BIM standards, improve workflows, and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, have 2–4 years of electrical design and BIM experience, and be proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with knowledge of ELV systems. A professional engineer license (or path toward licensure), experience with clash detection, sustainable design, and the ability to mentor junior staff are required.
