Chief Manager - Business Modelling

Description

The Chief Manager – Business Modelling is responsible for financial modelling and related financial analysis supporting bids and new business acquisitions. This role works closely with management to provide data‑driven insights for key financial decisions, investment actions, and strategic planning.

• Build and review financial models for TBCB bids and new order margins.
• Develop advanced Excel models using VBA/macros and other modelling tools.
• Assist business management with financial models for new business and sales acquisition decisions.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analyses to support investment actions.
• Perform financial risk assessment and devise mitigation strategies.
• Update and upgrade models to reflect changing business environment.
• Lead discussions with Finance, FP&A, and Tax teams to finalize financing assumptions.
• Forecast business acquisition and plan market strategies.
• Prepare Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the business unit and track consumption by head.
• Conduct competition analysis and support alliance team for bidding compliance.

Requirements

• Essential qualifications: CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) with 5+ years experience in financial/business modelling; direct experience developing financial models; proficiency in MS Excel/macros; exposure to infrastructure sector, corporate tax, regulatory policy, capital structuring, risk and sensitivity analysis.
• Desirable qualifications: experience in competitive bidding of infrastructure projects; knowledge of macros, Power BI, automation tools; 5–7 years experience in power or telecom transmission industry.
• Competencies: analytical decision‑making, customer service orientation, impact & influence, information seeking, initiative; functional expertise in financial, operational, people, and strategic areas.
