The Role

Overview

Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems in a manufacturing plant.

Tasks

-Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records -Troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices -Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, lighting fixtures and other electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers and fuse disconnects -Work closely with Operations and Mechanical Maintenance personnel -Maintain spare parts inventory -Plan and oversee testing and calibration of electrical and electronic equipment and tools on a scheduled basis -Comply with internal and corporate policies, procedures and regulations with respect to Health & Safety -Read and interpret Electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications -Respond to emergency situations as necessary and perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Manager

What You Bring

-Good communication skills (verbal and written) -Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to work collaboratively -Work with computers, AC/DC drives, HMI’s and PLC’s -Must have knowledge of AC/DC Drives, Relay Logic, RS logix 500 and control logix Programming -Minimum of 5 years of experience in a continuous manufacturing environment -Electrical Engineering Degree or Diploma is a plus -Licensed Industrial Electrician 442A
