Providing engineering, procurement, and construction services to the energy and industrial sectors.
You will work on major process controls engineering projects for upgrades and modifications to nuclear power plants, covering digital systems such as PLCs, DCS, touchscreen displays, network switches and control systems; functional requirement and procurement specifications; process instrumentation replacement evaluation reports and nuclear modification packages; and mechatronics and control systems for pumps, valves, heat exchangers, steam turbines and reactors to improve plant functionality.
The role includes attending client meetings and performing site walkdowns to ensure client satisfaction, as well as providing mentorship to less experienced nuclear instrumentation and controls design engineers. This position follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week in the office.
Joining the Nuclear Power Group means contributing to clean, carbon‑free energy projects such as SMRs, advanced reactor technology, plant life extensions, digital modernization, coal‑to‑nuclear conversions, and international new‑build projects, all driven by a focus on safety, innovation and sustainability.
Qualifications require a BS or MS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program with coursework in instrumentation, mechatronics and process controls design, and at least five years of design engineering experience for process control systems; experience in nuclear power plant control systems is preferred.
Candidates should have experience with control system design for low and medium voltage distribution, equipment such as turbines, pumps, feedwater control and data displays, as well as knowledge of power plant instrumentation for BWR or PWR reactors, familiarity with pre‑engineered equipment, and the ability to review design drawings created by others.
