Senior Planner

Description

You'll help deliver on within sectors such as rail, road, energy, and high-voltage transmission in a planning capacity.

You’ll work alongside some of the UK’s largest infrastructure clients and ambitious renewable energy developers, contributing directly to projects that are shaping the country’s future energy and transport landscape.

• Drafting written representations, supporting hearings and public inquiry appeals, and contributing to Local Plan promotions.
• Providing expert planning advice on major projects across the UK.
• Taking ownership of project delivery, including program and budget management.
• Supporting the DCO lead and wider project teams on Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
• Preparing and submitting major planning applications, including negotiations with local authorities and statutory stakeholders.

Requirements

🪙Pension 4% (increases to 5%)

PT Renewables is partnered with an established property and infrastructure business looking for a brand-new, experienced, Senior Planner that can deliver on nationally significant infrastructure projects.

Are you an experienced Planner?

• Excellent report writing, planning law knowledge, and understanding of the UK planning system.
• RTPI (or equivalent) qualified planners with experience in NSIPs or large, complex planning applications.
• Strong consultancy or local authority experience, ideally with exposure to managing different consultants.
