Development Manager

• Maintain project records, review submittals, process requests for information, and review pay applications.
• Oversee and guide construction project meetings.
• Conduct site observations, document construction progress via reports (travel required), and ensure adherence to building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate on multifamily project specification standards and quality assurance, including internal reviews.
• Research materials and installation methods; assist Project Managers with project permitting.
• Resolve problems collaboratively and serve as the main client contact during bidding and construction, aiming for exceptional service.

CORY is hiring for a qualified Development Manager with strong expertise in project specifications, plans, codes, field construction, and methodologies. This role involves coordinating all subcontractor field operations to ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of new mixed-use construction projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit experience is advantageous.
• NYC Super’s license and all associated OSHA trainings
• 6+ years’ experience in ‘ground-up’ new construction, high-rise builds in NYC.
• Experienced in design and construction with a deep understanding of methodologies and techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent. Licensed Architect preferred

• Base salary depends on overall experience - up to around $150K+
