The position involves designing and analyzing waterlines, pumping and storage facilities, and sewer collection systems, with an emphasis on hydraulics and hydrology. Engineers will prepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates, perform system modeling and evaluation, and support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub‑consultant coordination.

- Perform system modeling and evaluation using water system software.
- Support project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub‑consultant coordination.
- Interface with state and local agency clients and coordinate stakeholder meetings.
- Collaborate with office management and other project managers to share resources.
- Assist in proposal preparation, including oral presentations, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
- Lead projects from inception to completion within multidisciplinary teams.
- Support other project managers in delivering high‑quality designs and developing new client projects.

Candidates must hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering and be a registered Professional Engineer. Preferred experience includes relationships with municipalities, water agencies, tribes, and flood control agencies, as well as proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, HEC‑1/2/RAS, Flow2d, and other modeling tools. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are required, along with 2‑4 years of relevant design experience.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited program.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 2–4 years of experience in water system, sewer collection, or hydraulic design.
- Experience and relationships with municipalities, water agencies, tribes, and flood‑control agencies (preferred).
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, WaterCAD, and other 2D modeling software.
- Expertise in hydrologic/hydraulic software such as HEC‑1, HEC‑2, HEC‑RAS, Flow2D.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills.
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines and budgets; ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Desirable experience managing technical staff and project teams.
