As an IT Assurance Manager you will use your technical and leadership skills to oversee the completion of IT general control audits, applying knowledge of each client’s operations, processes, and risks to support financial statement opinions and enhance IT assurance services. You will build relationships with clients and engagement teams while collaborating to improve overall financial reporting processes and help clients better understand their IT processes and areas of risk. The role involves overseeing multiple client engagements, communicating expectations clearly, planning and executing IT control evaluations, and working with audit teams to resolve issues. You will also collaborate on proposals and business development, train and supervise junior team members, and represent the firm at recruiting and networking events.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, IT, MIS, or a related discipline and possess a CISA or equivalent certification, with a minimum of six years of relevant experience in public accounting or a comparable field. Technical expertise in access control, security architecture, operating systems, databases, and ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or NetSuite is advantageous. The position offers a base salary range of $129,600 to $194,400 in Massachusetts.
