Description
Overseeing the specification and ordering of new Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs), liaising with internal business divisions and vehicle manufacturers
Monitoring Operator Compliance Risk Score (OCRS) and encounter reports to ensure operational excellence
Working closely with the Director of Operations to ensure the safe and efficient running of the transport operation
Ensuring compliance with the company’s Operator Licence in line with traffic commissioner requirements
Liaising with governing bodies (Logistics UK, CLOCS, LLCS) to represent FM Conway in governance proposals and industry developments
Responsibility for managing a large team, including compliance managers, transport managers and planners
Accountable for the division’s financial performance, including setting strategic budgets and ensuring they are consistently met to drive profitability
