Project managers will be accountable for project‑management excellence, including defining scope, developing schedules, controlling budgets, evaluating risks, and implementing mitigation strategies. They will oversee technical resources, field programs, and subcontractors, ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory frameworks, and prepare clear project reports, proposals, and work plans. Additionally, they will support business‑development initiatives such as responding to RFPs, EOIs, and SOQs.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong project‑management expertise, leadership skills, and a client‑focused approach. They should have solid interpersonal and communication abilities to build trust across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, power, infrastructure, and government, as well as familiarity with contaminated‑site projects and relevant environmental legislation.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, or a related field, at least seven years of relevant experience (with five years in project management of environmental projects), and a professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Geo., or C.E.T.
