The role is responsible for implementing and supporting project HSE plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, delivering specialized training, and communicating district HSE strategies. It also includes hazard identification, leading inspections, managing emergency response and environmental plans, auditing contractor performance, participating in investigations, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and coaching staff.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field, possess a recognized safety designation, and have at least five years of relevant experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. They should demonstrate strong knowledge of OH&S and environmental legislation, construction processes, Microsoft Office, and exhibit excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and stakeholder‑management skills.
