Maintain high presentation standards across homes and external areas throughout the finishing stages.
Identify and address recurring issues with finishing trades to prevent repeat defects.
Take ownership of plots from the final build/clean stage, ensuring all homes are finished to the required standards and ready for handover within agreed timescales.
Oversee finishing standards within communal areas and facilities, ensuring completion and approval by relevant authorities and management companies.
Record and authorise day works, including photographic evidence where appropriate.
Uphold health and safety standards across all working areas.
Ensure compliance with quality control procedures and Berkeley standard details.
Liaise closely with Site and Project Managers to understand priorities, manage workloads, and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
Work with the Customer Services Team to ensure homes are ready for demonstration and handover, with all documentation and keys in place.
Attend weekly meetings to update and track demonstration and handover schedules.
Build strong working relationships with contractors to ensure timely completion of all finishing works to the required quality.
Support the Customer Service Managers at commissioning, ensuring all items identified are resolved within agreed timescales (typically 2–3 days).
Collaborate with the Head of Quality Control, attending inspections and providing feedback on recurring issues.
Conduct Pre-Commissioning and Quality Inspections to ensure homes are presented to the highest standard before commissioning.
Carry out final inspections and testing to secure Completion Certificates prior to serving notice.
Undertake any additional duties as required to support the successful delivery of the project.
Maintain excellent site presentation at all times.
Implement and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring all hold points (pre-clean, pre-commission, pre-serve) are communicated and achieved.
Monitor and drive achievement of 90%+ on ‘Ready’ and ‘Clean’ IHR scores.
