As an Engineering Project Leader, you will steer engineering delivery for cutting‑edge defence projects covering air and land‑based systems, ensuring technical excellence, on‑time delivery, and effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to support mission‑critical programmes.
- Lead and coordinate engineering delivery teams, managing time, cost, and quality.
- Support creation of Unit Production Cost (UPC) targets and align them with project goals.
- Oversee technical quality, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager to align engineering activities with programme objectives.
- Apply scheduling, estimation, and risk management to ensure project success.
- Provide clear leadership and communication to foster a high‑performance culture.

The role is based in Reading with a minimum of four days onsite per week, senior‑level (10+ years experience) and requires eligibility to work in the UK and the ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
