Director of Procurement

The Director of Procurement will shape, lead, and scale the organization’s global procurement activities. This role will architect and execute strategy across category management, sourcing execution, supplier relationships, risk mitigation, and operational best practices.

As the senior procurement leader, you’ll drive measurable cost savings, strategic partnerships, and process excellence — ensuring alignment with business goals and private equity stakeholders. Your leadership will directly impact the company’s operational efficiency, long-term value creation, and global growth trajectory.

• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and private-equity governance standards.
• Partner with technology and product teams to align procurement initiatives with digital transformation goals.
• Support post-acquisition integration and synergy realization, partnering closely with operations and private equity sponsors.
• Leverage analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.) to drive data-informed decisions, efficiency, and cost savings.
• Establish and refine procurement processes, systems, and policies to drive transparency, scalability, and governance.
• Lead category management across key spend areas: IT (software, cloud, hardware), marketing, HR, professional/business services, facilities, and travel.
• Develop and execute a multi-year procurement strategy and roadmap to drive efficiency, value creation, and business alignment.
• Develop and lead a robust Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) program with clear KPIs, performance scorecards, and improvement plans.
• Champion procurement best practices and compliance across the organization.
• Build deep relationships with internal leadership teams (Finance, Legal, Risk, Security, Data Privacy) to align procurement with enterprise goals.
• Strengthen vendor risk and compliance management programs in partnership with IT, InfoSec, and Legal.
• Partner with key global suppliers to ensure compliance, risk management, and consistent delivery excellence.
• Direct complex sourcing initiatives and RFP processes; negotiate high-value contracts to maximize cost efficiency, innovation, and quality.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Build and scale a global procurement function, establishing foundational processes, systems (P2P, contract repositories), and policies for sustainable, high-impact value delivery.
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing global procurement team.
• Lead sourcing strategies for technology spend categories (SaaS, hardware, cloud, IT services).

Category Management, Sourcing & Spend Optimization

• Advanced data analytics and reporting capabilities; familiarity with BI tools preferred.
• Strong expertise in IT/software procurement, SaaS contracting, and vendor negotiations.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred). MBA or advanced certifications (CPSM, CIPS, PMP, Six Sigma) highly desirable.
• Proven track record in building procurement teams, implementing sourcing strategies, and leading transformation in technology-driven or PE-backed environments.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within a global or high-growth organization.
• Deep understanding of procurement compliance, governance, and risk management frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with P2P and ERP systems (Coupa, SAP, NetSuite, Workday, etc.).
